❦*¨* Pics and movies shot on 3rd-4th December 2025 We stayed in a luxury resort villa in Awaji Island, Hyogo prefecture. It’s already winter here but we felt we were in Waikiki, Hawaii or Udud in Bali ？ (Not the temperature, resort vibes🌴) We really enjoyed our stay there I didn’t want to leave. 📍KARIKO RESORT @karikoresort We stayed in a spacious ocean-view villa at Kariko Resort, one of Japan's largest dog resorts located on Awaji Island. Wherever we went, it felt like Bali or Hawaii, letting us fully enjoy an overseas resort atmosphere. We had a wonderful time and got into the Christmas spirit early🎅🏻 Huge Christmas trees and miniature train layouts are on display until Dec 25🎄 ・Enjoy resort vibes in about 2 hours from Osaka city center🏝️ ・The large natural grass dog run has slope variations that Luana and Lino love. (We held a meet-up here before) Play for free from check-in until after check-out the next day (Pool available in summer) ・At Kariko no Yu♨️, there are large baths, saunas, and bedrock baths, perfect for relaxation👌 A training gym is also available. (Free workout wear rental for guests) ・Dinner was the Winter Awaji Luxury Course: "Kariko Aged Meat 'Kiwami'" Marbled Awaji Beef Loin Shabu-Shabu. Appetizers included Awaji Island 3-year Torafugu sashimi, parboiled skin, and fried blowfish salad, all delicious. The main shabu-shabu beef was rich in flavor and melted in the mouth. It was my first time eating such delicious shabu-shabu meat—a mind-blowing experience⚡️ Finished the abalone kamameshi and dessert completely. The macarons were super delicious too🥰 Recovering from the flu, I truly appreciated what a culinary blessing this was. ・All-inclusive drinks in the lounge are free-flowing. The lounge has billiards🎱 and darts🎯, table tennis🏓 in the basement, and a comic/book corner on the 2nd floor, so you can enjoy even on rainy days. ・Toasted with brought-in 🍾🥂 since there was no time before dinner. ・Morning waves were calm, feeling as pleasant as if we were on a lanai in Waikiki🩵 ・For breakfast, pick 3 pastries at Bakery Cafe Misaki and enjoy them with salad, yogurt, and drinks on the ocean-view terrace with your dog. (If closed, it switches to a restaurant where dogs are not allowed) ・You can enjoy meals with your dog if dinner is BBQ and breakfast is at the bakery.
